A Down and Dirty 10 Point Environmental Checklist

OK people, even if the term global warming is a semantics nightmare, we got a sick puppy on our hands and we better all put on our grown-up britches and do our part! 

• buy green- you can't afford not to
• bundle errands- keep the list handy
• recycle- my mother was doing it in the 60s
• compost- you don't even need a yard see http://www.gardeners.com/
• use the clothes dryer less- it's expensive anyway
• drive less- make sure what you're driving is not a hog
• walk, bike, run, plod- kill 2 birds with one stone
• turn off/unplug power strips, appliances, computers, chargers, etc when not in use
• go paperless- almost everywhere offers this option
• take your name off those lists
